Israel has decided to postpone the mandatory use of clearance CTC e-invoicing until March 31, 2024.
Due to the current security situation, the Tax Authority will permit the deduction of input tax from a tax invoice without requiring an allocation number until March 31, 2024.
The amendment to the Value Added Tax Law aims to address fictitious invoices by regulating the allocation of tax invoice numbers. Starting January 1, 2024, the Tax Authority will issue assignment numbers for tax invoices through an online system.
